After speaking recently to the Marrickville Writers’ Group, Ros returns to Marrickville Library to give a free talk about her book Castles, Follies and Four-Leaf Clovers and walking St Declan’s Way, Ireland’s forgotten ancient highway and pilgrim route, and to discuss travel in general and also travel writing. Come along and escape the ordinary everyday as part of the National Year of Reading.

Rosamund is talking at Manly Library about her book Castles, Follies and Four-Leaf Clovers: Adventures Along Ireland’s St Declan’s Way. Her adventure begins when she is lent a map of the ancient highway and pilgrim route St Declan’s Way. Stories of goddesses, ghosts and fairies are intertwined with the eccentricities and daily lives of everyday people   this is a journey full of surprises that only Ireland can offer.

Rosamund is speaking about Castles, Follies and Four-Leaf Clovers at the inaugural Snowy Mountains Readers and Writers Festival held in Jindabyne on the Easter weekend. Saturday 7 April, 7pm at Journey Food and Wine Bar with travel writer A J McKinnon and MC George Negus. Sunday 8 April 11am–12noon free talk on Irish pilgrimage and music played by Irish musician Bill Motherway.
